Well update on the twins:

Gavin is 4lb 1.3oz today and we are weaning him out of the isolate into an open air crib! :) with each feeding they will take his temperature and turn down the temp in the isolate from 37degree Celsius slowly to room temp!

Gabe is up to 3lb 15oz and when he hits 4lbs we will do the same as gavin! :) we are moving on up!

A week after they do well in their open cribs we will start "nippling" on a bottle and recreationally nursing. They will still have their feeding tubes, only I will pump, feed them a bottle, and then allow them to play around at the breast to figure it out. When they get home we will have to do all three as well. I will have to nurse them, give them a 1.5pz bottle, and then pump....each feeding. We will then have to work up to exclusively breastfeeding and pumping the excess in order to build my supply.




The birthday boy is sippin on some apple juice and eating a pop tart all alone like a big boy. Hes talking up a storm!

Today we get to give both twins their baths and hold them without all their leads and monitors :) I will try to post pictures!
