Well my phone has been eerily silent since yesterday. You don't have to now avoid us like the plague!
E is doing well :) we went to get his shots yesterday but after waiting for 1.5hours and still not being seen, we had to leave so Tim could make it to work. So we need to get those done in the next week. He is getting so big and hyper! My man is a ball of energy lol he's such a wild man!
Xavier is enjoying kindergarten :) they are collecting box tops and turning them in homecoming week. The last week of September! The child with the most gets a prize and Xavier wants to be the winner. So anyone who could clip box tops and get them to Tim or I would be helping out Xavier greatly! Hes so excited about participating in all the activities in school.
Gavin is up to 4lb 5oz and has been moved out of his isolate and into an open crib. He still has his feeding tube for 6 of his feedings but hes now nippling two bottles and gets to do non nutritive nursing on me for one :) which is when I pump, we feed it in his tube, and try to get him to latch on. That way he can practice without getting a milk bath :) because pumping at home my supply is larger then what they eat now.
Gabe is up to 4lb 2oz and is also in an open crib :) he two gets to nipple two feedings and non nutritive feed on one.
I need to prepare everyone for when we come home. The doctors said upon discharge we are really to have only necessary visitors for the babies health. They have been living in the sterile nicu since birth and need to become acclimated to our home and us before we start taking them to public places or to people's homes unless absolutely necessary. They will also probably come home with monitors for apnea and bradycardia. No smoking in the apartment or car anymore for dad either so it will be a few weeks of lots of changes.
So no visitors the first few weeks they're home guys. Sorry :/ it's for their health not out of selfishness.
