Today all the boys had physical and occupational therapy :)

Gavin is doing great! Amazing reciprocal kicking. He even already tries to army crawl at 3 months actual (today!) and four weeks adjusted. He is holding is head up so much better! He still has a few flat spots and he's now acquiring a bald spot right in the back but over all is loosening up and progressing in his gross motor skills :)

Gabe is doing better, not as we'll as Gavin. He is still having muscle tightness on his left side causing his head to pull to the right. His head shape is in the moderate to severe for being misshapen. His left ear is about 1.5cm more forward then his right. We are discussing possible helmet therapy but not for another couple of months. We are hoping working on head placement at home will correct the issue before being so invasive.

Ethan's still only putting pressure on the outside of his feet. We have had issues with Ethan curling his toes and standing on them when he first learned to pull up and cruise. After 7 months of walking the problem still hasn't self corrected. We have to get some foam foot inserts and cut them to put under the lining of his shoes in order for his foot to lay flat. After it starts doing it on its own we can take them out. If it gets worse then we will have to order him special shoes. It is effecting the way he walks. He has about a 3-5in gap between his legs when he stands and walks, his little toes and nails are suffering from him constantly curling his little piggies and it will all subsequently start causing hip issues, which we would like to avoid. I figured it was something he'd grow up and out of but after his pediatrician, the twins nurses, occupation and physical therapists made comments I figured it was time to address the issue and that there was one.

Cloth diapering is going great for all interested! :) Ethan loves his econobum covers with prefolds. We are ready to start exploring in our cloth diapering venture! We are patiently waiting for our pocket diapers to arrive! I have been researching how to make upcycled fitteds, fleece and wool soakers. I have also had a fellow twin mama and blog reader offer up some preloved diapers she used with her twins! :) thank you again!

The twins have officially outgrown all their preemie and newborn stuff. We are in size one diapers and 0-3 clothes! I never thought I'd see the day. It is unreal to me to look at pictures of them at 3lbs and thinking its the same baby. These "new" babies with chubby cheeks and the beginnings of leg rolls! They are looking more and more like their big brothers every day :)

It is crazy the attention we get when we take the twins out in public. It is almost as if its a new kind of baby fever. Strangers have some Ka-honies though. Always trying to touch them and their little faces and hands! I am tempted to buy a "HANDS OFF" sign for their stroller! It is unreal.

It is getting tough explaining how old they are to people as well. If you say 3 months they look at your like you're nuts, and if I say 4 weeks I feel like I'm full of crap.

Ethan is getting his dreaded molars. One is halfway through and his hands are always in his mouth again. He is 14 months and is getting SO adventurous. He can walk backwards, bounce/jump, push the kitchen chairs around to where he wants them and climb into bassinets, the changing table, kitchen table, counters ect. I am thanking god everyday he has no interest in the stove top yet! He dances to everything now :) he is starting to figure out rhythm and tempo and now slow dances, runs, claps, taps ect. It is my FAVORITE!

Xavier is loving school. He can count to 39 and the goal is 100. He is doing amazing and finding his sight words (a, an, the, this, that, his, her, there, ect), and is enjoying learning! Our only issue is conflict resolution. He is an only child and his moms where he is that majority of the time so it's something we're working on. He doesn't have to share, and wait for his turn there. His birthday is coming up though! November 30th and he will be 6. It is crazy to think I've been his step mom (for all intents and purposes) for 3 years now! I remember how tiny and daring he was as a tiny tot. He is definitely grow up :)

Tim and I are doing well :) he just got a promotion and is now a manager at work. So that means more day shifts and more time with us! We are really starting to enjoy all three babies together now that we've settled into sort of a routine!

Well that's all for now! All 5 of my boys are hungry!
